Our Leadership

Pastor Keith and Denise Styron
I can say I am a blessed man to be the pastor of such a wonderful group of people as those at First
Assembly of God. I have been their pastor since July 27, 2003, and have never seen such a loving and
caring people. I came to First Assembly to fill in after their former pastor left. I told them I was not
interested in becoming pastor but before I got back to my home that night, the Spirit of God told me
that was where I was suppose to be. I was soon voted in as pastor and have seen God do some
wonderful things during this time. This is my third church since being called to full time ministry in
1984. My wife, Denise and I love the mountains of North Carolina and First Assembly. We hope that
God will keep us here for many years to come.

Women's Ministries will have a new Coordinator beginning in
Carol Knipschield--Women's Ministries Coordinator
I came to First Assembly, Jefferson in 2003. Previously, I was a member of
North Lake Assembly in Charlotte, NC. Being active in the women`s
ministries is a new experience for me. I hope with the Lord`s help, this will be
a great adventure. Whatever this adventure brings, I will strive to serve and
glorify God.

I have been a member of the Assemblies of God for just
over five years.Prior to that I was a member of a moderately
sized "pentecostal Baptist Church in Raleigh,N.C. I have been
involved in the music ministry as a worship team member
and sound coordinator for over 25 years. I have been a
participant in precept bible studies for over eleven years.
Along with inner city ministry in central Raleigh, under the ministry
arm of the Raleigh First Assembly of God church.
My goal as a Men's ministry leader for Assembly of God/Jefferson is three fold;
1. To encourage and strengthen the Men of the church through the Word and
prayer.
2.To reach out to one another and our local community to share the Gospel with
those who do not know Jesus Christ.
3. Lastly, to invite every man of our Church to feel free to join in the fellowship
and friendship we should all be experiencing as sons of the "LIving Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ".
